Marianne and Cleo climbed the gentle west-facing slope in Glentrasna, entering the earthen ring through its southwest gap. They walked the fern-choked interior until Marianne touched a buried stone edge beneath the soil. Cleo photographed the mark without moving it, and they left the fort closed to every other person.

In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope, in corner of field. Circular area (28m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 1m); fosse (D 0.6m). Gap in bank to SW; interior slopes towards SW.
