Bonet River circles the fort like a guard dog. A human hand built the ring, but time and water have blurred the edges until fairy and human making become one story. The D-shaped bank still holds its line on the Glenade valley floor, waiting for someone to remember what it kept.

Located on top of a rise on the floor of the Glenade valley, and on the SW bank of the NW-SE Bonet River. This is a grass-covered subcircular of D-shaped area (int. dims 40.5m N-S; 34.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank which is best preserved N-NE (Wth 1.6m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 2.2m) where there is an outer berm (Wth 3.4m), but the bank is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m) elsewhere. The original entrance is not identified, and the perimeter is slightly truncated by a relict WNW-ESE field bank at S. The monument is circumscribed by the river N-E at a distance of 10-15m.
