What is recorded here

Fortyacres holds a worn circular bank and a broken ditch, large enough to surround a house yet faint enough to step across without thinking. The nearby ringfort and buried chamber suggest the grassland was once busy with people who believed boundaries needed drawing. Fairy forts invite that belief back, transforming a ordinary field into a place where human life still echoes beneath the turf.

In level grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 32.5m, E-W 27.5m) defined by a bank and external fosse; the latter survives from S through W to N. There is a CBG (GA029-073001-) within the interior. A ringfort (GA029-074----) lies c. 200m to SW.
