Fairy fort in Farranbrien East is a 38-metre earthen ring on a south-east slope, its eroded bank still standing 1.6 metres high beside a field fence. The entrance faces east, the interior has been scarped level against the hillslope, and a shallow fosse remains visible to the west. Tyres now lie dumped inside the ancient circle, marking the place where human hands have repeatedly shaped, used and discarded the same ground.
