What is recorded here
Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Edmondstown (farbill By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Edmondstown (farbill By.), County Westmeath, Ireland. The site sits on a slight rise in gently undulating pasture, a setting that the 1970 account noted provided good views in all directions. A 1970 description recorded the monument as a roughly circular area defined by ploughed down remains of a low scarp visible from north-northwest through north to northeast and at south-southwest. There was no visible trace of an external fosse, and the original entrance was not recognisable during that inspection.

Monument described in 1970 as a roughly circular-shaped area defined by the ploughed down remains of a low scarp (approx. H 0.3m) visible from NNW-N-NE and at SSW.
