Muckrum Valley, Donegal: A small earthen ring, eight metres across, holds its shape on a west-facing hillside above good pasture. The bank is broken and hidden by vegetation, but the circle remains clear enough to walk. People may have lived there, excluded others from that space, or marked it as a boundary between the ordinary field and the unseen.

Internal diam. 7.85m. A subcircular area enclosed by a partially destroyed earthen bank. It is much overgrown. The 'fort' is situated on the W slope of a hill on good pasture land.
