Drumroragh holds a rare triple-ring fort where three earthen banks and outer fosses enclose a twenty-eight-metre circular space. A break in the inner bank at the east-northeast may mark the original entrance, while the two outer rings may have arrived later when the site became a tree-ring. That layering suggests the fort did not disappear so much as change shape, losing human clarity and becoming a boundary for nature instead.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 28m) enclosed by three earthen banks with outer fosses. An earlier report (OPW 1970) interpreted the two outermost banks and fosses as being later additions, possibly dating to the period when the site was transformed into a tree-ring.
