What is recorded here

Two earthen banks and a deep ditch enclose a circular space thirty-eight metres across in Drumpeak. The outer bank has thinned with age, but the inner ring still stands beside an unexplained eastern depression. A southeast gap may have marked the entrance, inviting people into a fort the land still remembers.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 38m) enclosed by two earthen banks with intermediate wide, deep fosse. Outer bank is partly denuded. Inside the inner bank at E is a depression of unknown significance. Original entrance may have been at SE.
