Drumkilly holds a thirty-metre oval trap where human anger forgot its own name. The fairies waited for the boy to chase them into the hole, then swallowed his shadows and half his years. He returned home old, angry and unable to remember why the sky annoyed him. The ring kept what it caught, including the boy’s wasted life.

Raised oval area (int. dims. 38.5m NW-SE; 30.8m NE-SW) enclosed by an earthen bank and fosse, both of which have been modified and incorporated into the field boundary.
