Half-hidden on a slight rise in County Meath, the Druminiskin ringfort is a grass-covered circle about twenty-five metres across, its thin earth bank and faint ditch worn smooth by centuries of rain and foot traffic. The entrance has vanished entirely, leaving the threshold imagined rather than seen. It is the kind of place where ordinary life became legend: a household, a boundary, a memory later recast as a fairy fort because the true names and dates slipped away.

Located on a slight rise towards the bottom of a SW-facing slope. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 25.5m NE-SW; 24.5m NW-SE) defined by a slight grass-covered bank (at WNW: Wth of base 4.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1m) W-N that is largely reduced to a low scarp (at ESE: Wth 2m; H 1m), with sight traces of a fosse (at WNW: Wth of top 3m; ext. D 0.3m) WSW-NW.
