What is recorded here

Situated on the N-facing slope of a hillock in an upland area. A raised circular area (diam. 30m E-W) enclosed by a well-preserved tree-lined earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 2.5-3m) and a wide, flat-bottomed external fosse (Wth 4m; D 1.2m) with a possible causewayed entrance (Wth 2.5m) at SE. The ringfort may have been reused as a landscape feature associated with the nearby big house. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
