Fairy fort in Deerpark, County Cork: a 30-metre earthen ring on a north-facing pasture slope, overlooking Bride Bridge and Castlelyons. Its shallow scarp and saucer-shaped interior suggest an old rath rather than a passing mound, yet the fairy name implies people once treated it as off-limits or sacred. Maybe children were warned away, maybe livestock were kept back, maybe the shape itself seemed too deliberate for ordinary farmwork.

In pasture, on N-facing slope overlooking Bride Bridge and Castlelyons to N. Circular area (30m N-S; 29m E-W) defined by scarp (H 0.5m); bank infilled into fosse "some years ago".
