What is recorded here

In pasture, on a S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 28m) defined by bank (overall Wth 9.3m; Wth at top 3m; int. H 0.65m; ext. H 0.95m) W-NW, by a scarp (Wth 2m; H 0.85m) NE-SSE and obscured by impenetrable briars elsewhere. Entrance (max. Wth 4m; basal Wth 2m) at NW. Fosse (overall Wth 4.5-5m; basal Wth 1.5-1.75; D 0.15-0.2m) SE-NE and has been truncated by field boundary (long axis N-S) across E-sector. Possible outer bank (overall Wth 2.55m; Wth at top 0.8m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.35m) at SE, but may be the result of up-cast from drainage activities. Interior has a S-facing slope.
