Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Fairy forts hide from human eyes. In Curraheen, a ringfort vanished completely, leaving no visible trace on Wm. Nunan's land. The field is called The Lisheen, and an underground passage may still breathe beneath the soil. What humans forgot, the fairies remember.
According to Bowman (1934, 391) fort on Wm. Nunan's land, in field called 'The Lisheen'; levelled many years ago, leaving no visible surface trace. Exact location not known. Possible Man-made underground passage (CO015-180---) recorded in same field. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
