In Lismire. Rectangular church (long axis E-W), with sacristy added to W gable. Three pointed windows in S wall with double sash window topped by switchline tracery. Wide rectangular door ope in centre of E gable flanked by pointed blind door niches; bellcote atop gable. Ceiling of pine panels. Date stone on W gable inscribed '1837'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
