Culloge holds a forgotten ringfort where a NE-SW roadway now cuts through ancient earth. The low bank and shallow fosse still mark a circular space thirty-seven metres wide, though field work has levelled part of the rath. It is the kind of place where ordinary traffic passes over buried life, carrying a shape of entry, defence and loss that no longer announces itself.

On a gentle SSE-facing slope in pasture. Not indicated on the 1837 or 1887 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. A raised circular area (diam. 36.9m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4m; H 0.4m max.) with a shallow external fosse (Wth 3.4m; D 0.3m). It is divided into roughly equal portions by a NE-SW roadway, field bank and drain. The rath has been levelled to the NW of these but its outline may still be traced.
