Crawnglass is a hidden ringfort, a circular enclosure twenty-six metres wide buried in low-lying marshy pasture. The earthen bank and shallow outer ditch have faded so completely that even aerial photography cannot find them. What remains is a ghost of a boundary, swallowed by wet grass and time.

Described in 1972 as being in low-lying marshy pasture land and comprising a circular area (diam. 26m) enclosed by a low, partially overgrown earthen bank and a shallow, outer fosse (SMR file).
