You can still walk the ghost of a room in Cragmore, where a thirty-metre circle faded into pasture after heavy wheels flattened it in the 1950s. The earth remembers the shape even when the field has forgotten its name. What was kept inside, what was locked out, and whose hands first pressed that bank are gone, but the boundary remains half-alive under the grass.

In pasture, on slight rise in low-lying undulating terrain. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled and incorporated into pasture field. However, low earthen bank (int. H 0.3; ext. H 0.15m) can be traced NNW->NNE, with very low rise (H c. 0.1m) evident as continuation NNE->ESE (diam. c. 27m NW-SE). According to landowner, enclosure levelled to present condition in 1950s.
