Mortons and others may have built the Correen ring before the fairies took it, yet the lost entrance and hidden chamber still belong to the changed world. The chamber is not dead; it is waiting for the end of human history and the birth of the new one.

Situated in a low-lying position in an undulating landscape with a small meandering NE-SW stream curving around it N-W c. 30-40m distant. This is a grass and scrub-covered circular earthen platform (diam. 32m N-S) that slopes down slightly to the NW. It is defined by a low scarp (H 0.35m) with evidence of a fosse defined by a band of dense scrub (Wth 2-3m). The original entrance is not identified.
