Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Corradarren

Raised circular area (int. diam. 42.25m) enclosed by two substantial earthen banks with a wide, deep intermediate fosse. Outer bank is absent at ESE. Break in inner bank at E accompanied by causeway, represents original entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
