Fairy forts are not for entry. They belong to the dead and to the living only at a distance. The ring in Corlislea still keeps its shape, with a break in the bank where the boundary of the two worlds grows thin. People may have lived there before fear changed the name, but the land still treats the circle as a warning rather than a home.

Raised subcircular area (int. dims. 29.4m NW-SE; 25.8m NE-SW) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and the remains of a fosse. Bank has been modified and incorporated into the field boundary. Fosse has been infilled but its outline may still be traced. Wide break in bank at NE may represent original entrance.
