Fairy fort in Corlackan, Ballymoe Bay, Kilbegnet Parish, County Galway: a circular rath 33m across, with a bank and outside ditch, stands about 270m east of another ringfort. Its round shape and preserved line suggest a place for living, keeping, hiding or being remembered, while the gaps in the bank may be later damage or passage. The name Fairy fort adds a layer of local wonder, as if people once believed the old earth still belonged to unseen neighbours.

Some 270m E of a ringfort (GA019-009----). Well-preserved circular rath (D 33m) defined by a bank and external fosse. Several gaps in the bank appear modern.
