What is recorded here

Fairy forts in Corbally are D-shaped earthen rings, thirty metres across, cut by roads and overgrown with gorse. They are human remains, not fairy works, yet they keep the shape of exclusion: a bank, a ditch, a missing edge where the road took its share. The fairies inherit what people stopped naming.

In pasture, below ridge crest on S-facing slope. Shown as semicircular arc of bank on all eds OS 6-inch map. D-shaped area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed SE->NW by earth and stone bank (int. H 0.5m; ext.
