Fairy fort in Coolknedane North is a broken earthen ring, thirty metres across, set in pasture on a north-facing slope with a clear view toward the Galtees. Its bank survives only in patches, partly swallowed by a field fence, while a shallow fosse marks the rest. The shape is still readable beneath grass and grazing, a forgotten room left open to the sky.

In pasture on N-facing slope, in corner of field. Good view of Galtees to N. Circular area (30m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by short section of bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 2m) N->ESE, partly incorporated in field fence; fosse NW->NNE (D 0.7m); elsewhere low undulation surrounded by slight depression indicates line of bank and fosse.
