Fairy fort in Coolbane, County Cork: a ringfort whose circular earthworks were levelled around 1960, leaving only a stone-faced earthen arc in the field fence. Local story holds that a man-made underground passage still runs through the interior. What remains is a buried room made visible by a farm boundary, inviting people to imagine the shape of the lost circle and the life that moved through it.

In pasture, on break in N-facing slope. Circular enclosure levelled c. 1960; arc survives in field fence SW->NW as earthen bank (ext. H 3.4m), stone faced on inside.
