Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cloonlurg is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cloonlurg, County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies a ridge in undulating pasture and contains a nineteen metre circular area enclosed by two earthen banks separated by a three metre fosse. The inner bank remains evident all round, while the outer bank survives along the southern and western arcs with slight traces of an external fosse. A northwestern to southeastern field boundary crosses the centre of the interior.
In undulating pasture, on a ridge. A circular area (int. diam. 19m) enclosed by two earthen banks with an intervening fosse (Wth 3m). The inner bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.4m) is evident all round. The outer bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 1.4m) is evident along the S and W arcs with slight traces of an external fosse (Wth 1m). A NW-SE field boundary crosses the centre of the interior.
