Fairy fort in Cashel is a D-shaped earthen ring on the north slope of Clockaughrim, with a precipitous drop where the bank fails. The eastern break may have been an entrance, while the missing southern edge suggests the site has given way to time or reuse. It is called Fergal's Grave in local tradition, but no proven event or person is recorded beside that name.

Internal diam. 18.5m. A D-shaped raised area partially enclosed by a low earthen bank containing some stone. The N side, where there is no bank, is defined by a precipitous drop. The bank does not survive on the S side. A definite break on the E side where it adjoins the N edge may be an entrance. Two depressions in the interior seem to be modern. The site is known as Fergal's Grave and it is situated on a piece of flat ground on the N slope of Clockaughrim. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
