What is recorded here
In undulating pasture, on a rise. A raised circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by two banks and an intervening fosse (Wth 3m). The inner bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 3m) and outer bank (Wth 1m; int. H 1.2m; ext. H 0.3m) are both quite stony. There is an entrance (Wth 2m) through the inner bank at E with a causeway and a ramp (Wth at top 4m, narrowing towards base) across the fosse and a corresponding gap in the outer bank. The interior is inaccessible due to dense overgrowth.
