Fairy forts hide in plain sight, wearing pasture and forgetting as cloaks. What is forgotten is not lost, only waiting for recognition. They reveal themselves through discomfort, longing and the sudden feeling that a dead place is still alive.

At the S end of a low rise in well-drained pasture. This monument has been largely levelled but its outline, marked by a very low scarp (H 0.2m), may be traced enclosing a circular area (diam. c. 50m). Probably the remains of a rath. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 26 August 2011
