Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Camlisk More,lackan

Half the ring is gone now, smoothed into the field, but the eastern half still stands as a low circle of earth and stone at the foot of the hill. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the true purpose had faded or because the shape felt older than human patience. A field drain cuts through the middle, dividing the two townlands and breaking the circle into two unequal lives. What entered the place, what left it, and when the western half disappeared are no longer written anywhere visible.
