What is recorded here

Boolavaun holds a circular earthen fort, likely built during the Iron Age or Middle Ages. It is a common shape across Ireland, yet each ring marks a separate household, farm or claim. The local name suggests people once believed fairies occupied the place, which is often a clue that the site felt strange, old or powerful.
