What is recorded here
Moyhill Castle vanished before records began, leaving only a name and a hollow in the Clare earth. Whatever tower or hall stood there, the land took it back. People may have built walls to keep out rain or rivals, then forgot the hands that laid the stones. The castle is gone, but the place still carries the shape of what it lost.
