Freestanding double-height Roman Catholic church, built 1858, with five-bay elevation having central door opening. Pitched artificial slate roof. Pebbledashed walls with cut-stone quoins and niche with statue over entrance door. Lancet openings with leaded coloured glass windows and cut-stone dressings. Pseudo four-centred arch door opening with cut-stone dressings, timber matchboard double leaf doors and etched glass fanlight. Retaining interior features. Cut-stone gate piers set in rendered boundary walls to site. Grotto and belfry to rear.
