Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Barbavilla Demesne is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Barbavilla Demesne, County Westmeath, Ireland. The 2017 survey recorded a sub-circular area with a north-south diameter of 30 metres and an east-west diameter of 28 metres, enclosed by a well preserved earthen and stone bank and a slight external fosse. The bank was noted to have several disturbance gaps and to appear steepened internally, while traces of cultivation ridges were visible running northwest to southeast across the interior.
Situated in the demesne lands of Barbavilla House located 610m to NNW, on a slight natural rise in gently undulating countryside. Ringfort (WM008-077----) 130m to N. Ringfort (WM008-083----) 200m to ENE. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 30m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by a well preserved earthen and stone bank and slight external fosse. The bank has several disturbance gaps, and appears to have been steepened internally. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running NW-SE across the interior of the monument.
