Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Barbavilla Demesne is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Barbavilla Demesne, County Westmeath, Ireland. Situated on the demesne lands of Barbavilla House 680 meters to the northwest on a slight natural rise in a woodland area, the site features a circular shaped area with an approximate diameter of 36 meters from north to south and 28 meters from east to west. This area is enclosed by a low bank that has been levelled in places, while traces of cultivation ridges are visible running east to west across the interior. The site has been planted with trees and appears to have been modified as part of this planting, with a large quarry hole and mound of upcast spoil located externally at the northeast.
Situated on the demesne lands of Barbavilla House 680m to NW on a slight natural rise in a woodland area. Ringfort (WM008-077----) 230m to NW. Ringfort (WM008-082----) 200m to WSW. A circular shaped area (approx. diam. 36m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by a low bank. The bank has been levelled in places. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running E-W across the interior of the monument. The site has been planted with trees, and appears to have been modified as part of this planting.
