Fairy fort in Ballyogaha West, County Cork. Earthen ringfort, thirty metres across on a north-west slope. Mapped in 1842, levelled since; only a curving fence and shallow dips remain. People called it a fairy fort because the shape refused explanation, and perhaps it still does.

In pasture, on NW-facing slope. Shown on OS 6-inch map (1842) as circular area (diam. c. 30m). Levelled; low undulations in field; W-E field fence curves to respect enclosure.
