Fairy fort in Ballynakill (ballymoe By.) is a worn earthen ring on a sunny Galway slope, broad enough for a small household yet faded until it resembles an abandoned dream. Its bank still rises at the northeast while a shallow ditch marks the southern edge, suggesting people shaped the land before forgetting what they built. The field cuts through the circle now, reducing a living home to a ghost line in grass.

On a SE-facing slope in grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 38m, N-S 35.5m) defined by a denuded earthen bank at NE, and elsewhere by a scarp. An external fosse is present from SSW to NW. The monument is cut by a field bank at NW and NE, and the td. boundary encricles it from NE to SE.
