Ballymunterhiggin holds a nineteen-metre earthen ring on rising ground, overlooking the River Bradoge valley and good pasture. Its bank stands only forty centimetres high beside a silted fosse, with a northeast gap marking the entrance. People may have lived there, feared the dark or simply watched the weather roll across the valley. The fairies keep the rest.

Internal diam. 19m. A subcircular area enclosed by an earthen bank .4m high and a silted-up external fosse. The gap to the NE is probably the entrance. It is situated on rising ground overlooking the valley of the River Bradoge to the S in good pasture with wide views.
