Circular enclosure (29.7m N-S; 28.7m E-W) in undulating pasture, three fields N of coastline. Interior enclosed by earth and shale bank (H 1.5m); external fosse (D 1m) to N and NE, silted up elsewhere. Bank stone faced in parts. Entrance to E (Wth 3.6m), stone faced on N side, recently widened on S side. Fosse rock cut to N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
