What is recorded here

Promontory fort stands where the land stops and the sea begins, a sharp edge of rock and soil built to watch the water. It is the kind of place where people stood before roads, before written rules, before the coast had a name on any map. The fort does not need explanation. It shows its purpose every time the tide turns and the horizon moves.
