Fairy fort in Ballinvrokig, County Cork: a 31-to-33-metre earthen ring on a south-facing pasture slope, its bank still standing about 1.8 metres high and facing stone in places. Inside, old tree stumps mark a forgotten planting, perhaps shelter, fruit or pride for the people who lived there before the field took the house back. The fairies may have done nothing at all, or they may have kept what humans stopped seeing.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (31m NE-SW; 33m NW-SE) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.8m) NNE->NNW, stone faced in parts. Interior once planted with deciduous trees, stumps survive.
