Lislee Court stood as a ruined rectangular castle on a WNW-facing slope in County Cork, commanding wide views south, east and west. The 1842 map still marked the site, though no wall or stone remains visible in the pasture today. The land keeps the shape of the building in faint undulations, holding a ghost of the structure that once dominated the horizon.

Lislee Court was likely a medieval manor house or small castle, possibly held by a local gentry family during the late Middle Ages. Its importance lies in its strategic position offering commanding views, typical of defensive and administrative sites in rural landscapes.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
