Young forestry and dense gorse now strangle the earth rampart, hiding a circular enclosure roughly twenty-five metres across. The site appears on a 1923 map as a defined embankment, yet the surrounding growth has reclaimed that human shape. What looks like untouched wilderness may instead be a forgotten boundary, waiting for someone to pull back the briars and remember the fort beneath.
