Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballinleenty is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballinleenty, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a small pasture field with a farmyard to the south. The oval area measures 34 metres north-south and 27 metres east-west. A bank runs along its edge, reaching 8.95 metres wide and 3.05 metres high on the outer face in the best-preserved section.
In a small pasture field, farmyard to S. Oval area (dims. 34m N-S; 27m E-W) defined by bank (Wth 5.9m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.4m) SSE-W-NE which is best defined (Wth 8.95m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 3.05m) SW-NW. Bank is reduced to a scarp (Wth 1.75m; H 1.1m) E-SSE. Breach (Wth 6.5m) at ENE and breach (Wth 3m) at NW. Fosse (overall Wth 9.85m; basal Wth 3m; D 0.75m) SW-NW. Modern earthen bank defining silage slab is located 6m from base of bank at S and truncates fosse SSE-SW. Interior generally level and grass covered.
