What is recorded here
Situated on a small hillock, in undulating pasture, with good views in all directions except N-NE where overlooked by higher ground. Ringfort (WM024-097----) lies c. 127m to SE. Monument described as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 37m) enclosed by a low earth and stone bank that has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary. The original entrance is not clearly visible. The interior rises towards the centre and has numerous rock outcrops. There are possible traces of a fosse and outer bank at S but this appears to be a modern trackway to farm buildings located to E.
