Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ardnagragh (digby)

Situated on a slight rise, in gently undulating and hilly pasture with good views to E, S, and SW. Bivallate ringfort described in 1971 and 1977 as an oval-shaped area (diam. 30m) enclosed by a steep bank, an intervening fosse and an outer bank. A modern wall running E-W crosses the N quadrant. The inner earth and stone bank is narrow and is almost reduced to a scarp with several modern disturbance gaps. A shallow intervening fosse is visible at N, S and SW. There are traces of a slight outer bank visible from S-WSW. A modern bank intersects the base of the inner bank at WSW. The original entrance is not recognisable.
