Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ardkeenagh (roscommon By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ardkeenagh (roscommon By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a circular grass-covered area about 48 metres across on a NW-facing drumlin slope. An earthen bank and hedge define most of the perimeter, while a field bank takes over the NE-SE section and an outer fosse cuts through the NE-S-WSW arc. A 3-metre ramp entrance opens at the west, and a 13.4-metre quarry marks the NW edge.
On a NW-facing slope of a drumlin. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 48m E-W; 47.9m N-S) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 5-7m; int. H 0.6-0.8m; ext. H 1.4-2m) which is incorporated into a field bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.8m) NE-SE, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 7.2-9.7m; Wth of base 3-4.7m; D 0.5-1.2m) NE-S-WSW. There is a ramp entrance (Wth 3m) at W, and the perimeter is quarried (L 13.4m; D 2m) at NW. A field bank (RO022-123----) is attached at SW.
