Fairy forts are earthen rings built by human hands, yet local stories claim they belong to hidden neighbours. This one sits atop a drumlin ridge in Annagh, its stone and soil bank still standing after centuries of rain and plough. The western gap likely marked the entrance, inviting people into a small circular world above the ordinary fields.

On top of a NW-SE drumlin ridge. A raised circular area (27.3m N-S; 25.5m E-W) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth c. 7m; H 0.7-1.3m) with a narrow external fosse (Wth 1.5-3m; D 0.3-1.1m).
