Half a kilometre west of the church, a shallow ring of earth still holds its shape in the pasture. The bank rises less than a metre, yet the circle measures twenty metres across and faces the coming weather. In the northwest quadrant a hidden passage may still cut through the ground, giving the fort more than an entrance and exit. People may have lived, hidden or tended animals there before the field took the place back.

In pasture, on NW-facing slope. Circular area (19.7m N-S; 20.7m E-W) enclosed by low earthen bank (max. H 0.8m). Possible Man-made underground passage (CO131-016002-) in NW quadrant. A fairy fort / earthen ringfort in An Drom Réidh is a circular early-medieval defensive or domestic site, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries AD. Local folklore may associate it with supernatural or fairy activity, as suggested by its "fairy fort" name.
