Knocknanacree still holds a broken circular rath in Acres, its earthen bank reduced to barely a metre high after centuries of weather and human interference. A field wall now cuts cleanly through the middle of the enclosure, dividing what may have been a home, shrine or meeting place into two ordinary farm compartments. The entrance gap at the north east remains narrow enough to picture someone stepping through deliberately, past a single standing stone on one side, into a space small enough for familiar lives.

Internal diam. 21m N-S, 24m E-W. This roughly circular univallate rath lies on the lower N slopes of Knocknanacree. It is bisected NW-SE by a field wall and no other features are visible in the interior. The earthen enclosing bank is a maximum of 1.1m high.
